Excellent talk which made me think about processes and keeping things aimed at the client. Really well thought out presentation.

I was lucky enough to see this talk at PHP Hampshire a while back, and this time it was more refined, well rehearsed and generally much better. Talking a bit slower and enunciating a little more might help the message sink in a little better, but apart from that it was good delivery, even better content.

I'm not sure what I expected from this talk, but afterwards, I don't think it was for me.

I didn't agree with some of what was said, but I think most of that is because I've had a vastly different experience working with other developers than the speaker has.

He was also a bit of a nervous speaker, and apologised for it a few times, but I don't think it was as big an issue as he seemed to think. He spoke clearly, and had some entertaining points in the talk.

Great talk. A little short - left me time to shoot down to the Uncon, so no bad thing in that respect. I think Phil should take a lot of confidence from the presentation - quite a scary venue really. Very interesting, very on-topic for me, and always good to hear from people who have been there, done that, so to speak.
