Interesting topic. Needs some improvement on the demo part.
Got an ineffaceable first impression about Laravel, which never saw in action before - that alone would worth the talk for me. The REST was also interesting.
The content was very good but there were some issues with the live code. Probably would work out better if you have it in branches on github.
