Manchester Conference Centre

PHP North West is a PHP conference with a regional focus, bringing the best of PHP speakers to the north-west of England on Saturday 9th October. A full day of conference speakers over at least two tracks this should again prove to be one of the best events for PHP user-led conferences in Europe. We're also, as last year, having an informal half day of speakers on Sunday 10th October, at the Museum of Science and Industry (MOSI) nearby. With a weekend packed with all things PHP and a ticket price to suit business and hobbyists alike there are no reasons to miss out - see you in Manchester :)

Jeremy and hist team of PHPNW have done an excellent job keeping the attendees, speakers and hotel staff happy hosting the buzzing community conference of the year.
A great job folks and I'm already looking forward to next year.

Conference seemed to me to be better in every way to the corresponding event last year; and I mean that without denigrating last year at all. All the talks I saw were generally excellent in content and delivery. I didn't hear anyone complain about any of the talks they attended either, which is remarkable.
I don't recall any major hitches, and the whole conference passed off not just smoothly but with an overriding sense of fun and bonhomie that is a credit both to the organisers and the delegates. It's nice to decamp to MOSI for day two as the change of scenery helps to keep the feel fresh.

I'm so glad I was able to attend this year, having missed the previous two due to work commitments, I made the effort to attend this year and was not disappointed.
Jeremy and his team pulled off a great conference with some excellent speakers, I'm looking forward to catching up on the sessions I missed once the videos are ready.
Big thanks guys, have learnt a lot this weekend and will definitely be there next year! going to make an effort to attend the monthly meetings too, so see you in November.

Awesome conference. So glad I went. The talks were good and had a great speaker line up. So thank you Jeremy and to everyone else involved. Can't wait for next year.

Excellent conference, impressive time-keeping and organisation. Only negatives were the fact that the lunchbreak was too short when it could take 30 minutes to queue for the main course and there weren't quite enough seats for everyone in the main auditorium.
