On Saturday, November 7, hundreds of LAMP developers will converge on nearby Franklin, TN, to learn about the inner workings of LAMP from bleeding edge technologists and business innovators. The three-track, all-day event will feature speakers such as Eli White of Zend Developer Zone and Jonathan Wage of Sensio Labs.

The Camp will offer direct access to the coders who use, troubleshoot and evangelize the LAMP software suite, providing an excellent recruiting opportunity for firms that require exceptional talent. In addition, the credibility and authority of the Camp speakers will provide a high-powered, low-cost training opportunity for development teams.

Nestled in Williamson County, named the 16th richest county in the nation by Forbes in 2008, Franklin is home to Big LAMP Camp venue The Factory, originally a stove manufactory, as well the U.S. headquarters of Nissan and Inc. 500 firms such as IT recruiting leader Vaco Technology.

Looking forward to an event in my backyard. Well, it's about 3.5 hours away, but compared to most events, it's right down the street. See you there!
