Rating: 5 of 5

This talk not only gives a broad overview about the capabilities and features of the JavaScript library jQuery, but enables the audience to enhance it the way they want using its' plug-in mechanism. In addition I'll show you examples of the functionality of the embedded event handling and how jQuery handles (a)synchronous requests to communicate with a server (AJAX).

Great presentation. Recommend these slides to everybody who wants to learn ab out jQuery. Some weeks before I've finished reading "jQuery in Action" (by the way: the best book about jQuery!) but I've learned a lot of new things about programming with jQuery.
