Talk at T3CON10 Dallas (Dutch)
As long as the work on TYPO3 5.0 has been going on people have asked whether starting a project with version 4.x was still the way to go. And we always said, yes of course.
Eventually those projects will see the need to migrate to TYPO3 5.x. Maybe it should even live on as a standalone application. Now, how do you migrate to 5.x or FLOW3 something we always said would be possible and maybe even easy?
This talk will point out the importance of Domain-Driven Design for this and show how code can be migrated from Extbase to FLOW3. This should give you a good starting point for assessing the amount of work needed in future migrations.
