Talk at Dallas TechFest 2010 (English - US)
Learn how to deploy and run CFML (ColdFusion) web applications on Google's App Engine (GAE), the same systems that power Google applications, for free. In a few steps you will be able to run your applications, with very few modifications (if any), using the open-source Open Blue Dragon CFML GAE engine combined with the GAE Java SDK using a tidy plugin for the Eclipse IDE. We will explore the nuances of CFML on GAE, specifically addressing issues with the virtual file system, email, datastore and HTTP calls through examples taken from a live, public Dallas-focused website . Do not worry, these accommodations are simple and straightforward enabling your application to run on a very robust "cloud" server platform for zero dollars ... priceless!
