FRAPI is a high-level PHP API framework that puts the “rest” back into RESTful. Use it to power your web apps, mobile services, and legacy systems. This workshop will take the users through the journey of creating a digg-like RESTful API in a very short amount of time. Starting by setting up FRAPI then moving on right away to creating the basic actions and showing how to use FRAPI to power your high-availability web service but also provide your third party developers with documentation regarding your API. A fine talk on building restful API's. David asked the audience in the class to define the requirements and then went on to build these API's on the fly. He was in "full flow" on his laptop writing PHP snippets with great fervor while the audience gaped in astonishment! This demonstrates the depth of his knowledge and the versatility of frAPI.
