The advent of cloud and grid technologies present interesting opportunities for organizations to virtualize their storage infrastructure and present capacity as a service or utility. This presentation will address the concept behind storage as a service, what tools exist to facilitate its implementation, and what attributes the underlying hardware infrastructure must include to make this concept a reality.
