Workshop at SACRAO 2011 (English - US)
SESSION ROOM: ATLANTA 3
Most agree that staff training and development are essential, yet many fail to devote the necessary time and resources because they simply do not know where to start. Those who have developed strong training and development models report increased effectiveness, better morale, and reduced turnover. Designed to model an effective delivery system, this session will cover four basic steps to effective staff training and development: 1) Be relevant, 2) Make it fun, 3) Train well, and 4) Train often. This session will demonstrate a training model that will show you how to implement these four steps regardless of the training topic.
