For many of us, Python has dramatically changed our professional life Open Source, technologies that get the job done, and let you learn and improve every day, a friendly and mature com munity, etc. Python is important! For learning, for science, for busines s, and for progress in general.A group of people are working to promot e Python and its ecosystem of tools, practices and projects, in new regio ns where it is not yet popular, in particular in South America and Africa. This talk is a presentation of these efforts to help raise awareness on its importance and get more people participating.
