Talk at SACRAO 2011 (English - US)
SESSION ROOM: ATLANTA 1
After three years of planning, anticipation, and a bit of dread, the W&L University Registrar’s Web site was rebuilt in a matter of weeks by office staff (along with the technical/design help of the W&L Web team). This session is not about html code, metatags, and pixels – it is a description of lessons learned from implementing massive change in our office’s Web presence. We started with a fresh slate in thinking about how we could present records and registration resources and communicate with folks on and off campus. What we ended up with was a Website that was completely reorganized, easier to read and navigate, modernized, and well received.
