I came in a couple of minutes late but really enjoyed this keynote. it was like a geekfest with all the old technology, but the point came across quite clearly. very nice!

Keynote at International PHP Conference 2011 Spring Edition (English - UK)
People love to predict the future. In 2012, for instance and among other things, the world will end - at least depending on whom you ask. IT experts also love to predict the future. For some reasons, however, those phophecies tend to be centered around products that the prophets' company offers, or plans to offer. So who could be better suited to take peek into the future of the web than an IT expert working for a company that does not sell products at all? Stefan Priebsch of thePHP.cc, having learned a few lessons while being in the IT business for over 20 years, will share his thoughts on what the future holds for the PHP ecosystem, and how this should affect what we do today.

too much history and just a short view into the future. The final part would have deserved some more explainations.

Only last few minutes of this presentation were useful and interesting, the beginning I wish I stayed in bed.

It was entertaining, but it felt like 90% history and 10% future and that is a little contradiction to the title of the talk.
