All kinds of PHP applications use the Oracle database because of the feature set available. This presentation highlights some of those features and shows how they make PHP applications easier to design, more secure and scalable.
Tuning examples for the PHP OCI8 extension, the network and for the database will be shown. The talk will also show how Oracle's free development and tuning tools improve the coding experience.
