PHP 5.3 brings a bunch of exciting new features that make everyday tasks a lot easier for programmers: closures and the new __invoke() magic method, new classes for stacks, heaps, queues and lists in SPL, late static binding and namespaces, and Phar for packaging. Combined, these features put an amount of excitement back in PHP that makes it as much fun as Python, just without indent for blocks ;)
