While I agree with the above comment (time issues) I really think this talked was very well planned and presented. Really liked the use of peoples names as variables (party line code) vs 'foo' and 'bar'. I really dislike 'foo-bar'. As a newbie in the PHP world, I got a good overview of concepts I need to understand, and a great list of resources to find them.

I have studied design patters a lot in the last year and this class still helped me understand some key concepts. I enjoyed it and would take it again.
