Elixir is a declarative mapper for the SQLAlchemy database toolkit which provides Python programmers with an elegant way to delcaratively map their objects to database tables using the Active Record design pattern. This talk will introduce attendees to SQLAlchemy at a very high level, and then provide an overview of Elixir and its capabilities.
