In this talk, Stas, with the help of other PHP Core Developers will discuss the process by which each version of PHP is developed. It will include talking about how features are chosen. Examples will be used from PHP 5.3, showing the process of how some of the new features in PHP 5.3 moved through the phases to go from idea to reality.

I have mixed feelings. It was a great session but some in the team made it seem like all that was relevant was fooling around, childsplay and alcohol. Luckily apart from those incidents many had very good answers and insights into the development and future of php.

Long winded, meandering, poorly coordinated, and AWESOME. I learned tons, and really enjoyed watching the team goof with and on each other.
