Code Archaeology: Becoming Indiana Jones

Michael turned this session into a story-telling narrative, dressed as Indiana Jones, no less. Very well done.
The concepts provided weren't game-changers for me, but they re-enforced both good practice and proper analysis.
I definitely appreciate anyone preaching not only the creation of documentation, but good standards in creating documentation.

He shared several debugging tools/techniques that I wasn't aware of. Quite handy. He also made it quite an enjoyable presentation while not particularly detracting from the content.

MIchael did a very good job walking a user through his experiences learning code bases in a narrative way. He was very knowledgeable, and Covered everything that I've gone through in my own explorations through Drupal.

Solid talk. Lots of great tools and techniques covered. The casino analogy worked well.

An excellent premise and idea for a talk.

A lot of the topics covered were (to me) common sense, but putting them together in a narrative really helps show how one can go through and figure out a codebase. There isn't any specific trick, it's just trying out all of these suggestions and digging in.
