Yii2 what to be glad about

Good talk, answered lot of entry level questions, covered lot of ground and showed passion doing it.

In the western Europe, Yii is not very well known (and the fact that nobody in the room had ever used it was a good hint :) so I think I would ask for a 1-hour time slot, and explain, apart from just models and a bland list of components, other parts of the framework also (routing, forms, etc.).
But it interested me, and I think I will try the framework sooner or later.

Very good overview of the basic features of the Yii framework. The speaker engaged with the audience and he has achieved the goal of teaching something to an audience of beginners.
