Alex shared that understanding PHP Interfaces didn't come easy for him which I could empathize with. Trying to wrap my head around the concept was what brought me to this Meetup. The use of the power cord plug to receptacle match as an analogy, accompanied with illustrative slides was a brilliant way to bring the abstract notion of PHP interfaces into focus for me.
This was a well prepared presentation that helped cement a formerly vague concept into a useful coding tool.

Slides were clear and easy to read and and highlighting individual lines of code was helpful. It was a good overview of the subject while still providing a level of detail.

Great content and interactions in a hands-on format. Organized, interesting, and productive active learning environment.
Slides were clear and the right amount of content between exercises. Friendly questions and answers, worked well with different levels of experience. Covered multiple environments so experienced users could do it in a different way if they wanted to get what they wanted out of it. (yeah, powershell worked with Git!)

Excellent workshop Beth! I really appreciated that had exercises built in, took enough time to let folks do the exercises, and walk around and offer so much awesome help!

Great talk, great info. Great demo, code is available.

Excellent talk Andrew! I liked how you went into some history and related the differences between MVC frameworks. Good job clarifying and answering questions as well.

Nice exposure to testing in Laravel 5 and helpful to hear of changes since Laravel 4. A slightly larger font (and not as condensed) along with more depth into what-to-test within your app would be appreciated. It didn't know about DOM Crawler and I now see that it is a component of Symphony. During the talk I thought it might be functioning like a headless browser, but it looks like it is restricted to inspecting the content in the server response. Looks really useful. Thanks for speaking.
