I really liked the many definitions of scalability, which I found to be a problem when talking with other developers. The talk was interesting and well structured.

It was a good introduction. I would reduce the amount of code on the screen and increase the font size, as I couldn't follow the code too well in the back. The speaker seems very knowledgeable.
I was expecting a little more about best practices. I did enjoy the talk and got a lot of interesting ideas out of it. The delivery was very enthusiastic.

Good talk showing some of the queue patterns. Have you looked at Gearman for doing asynchronous tasks? Would be interesting to compare your approaches.
