This talk was fast-paced and knowledgeable. Very good.

I hate it when a presentation consists of 50 company-branded slides with lists. This was not it :) there were jokes, cat pictures, insightful remarks and a terminal window with live demo.

To the presenter: you're too modest :)

Fun talk to watch. Confronts you with the fact full text search is dirty business. And that sphinx is a fast way to get started with no bells and whistles whatsoever

Great talk, very informative and the right amount of detail to provide insight for the general audience as well as some more in-depth knowledge for those that are working in the area.

Thanks to Keylane for free parking, beer and pizza. Thanks to Ross for his enthousiasm. Always wondered how search engines work. I know have a basic understanding, thanks to Mallory. This was my first DomCode meetup, but not the last. Well done you all!

Great well paced talk, good content, good speaker, great sponsor: everything a good meetup should be.

Interesting talk! Code examples often derived from real live production environment, makes it more relevant. The theory behind full-text search is complex but Mallory convinced the audience that people can get started with more easily accessible Sphinx. Code on screen sometimes difficult to read from a distance, needs some work
