Great talk with simulated event storming & explaining how to think in temporal model not just structural.
Great talk with good and easy to understand examples.
Great talk. I have thought about temporary models for building up to an artefact. I'm only still wondering how this would technically work if you look at CQRS and event souring. Those the temporary is also an aggregate root?
Cool, but a bit confusing for noobies on the subject. Timing was a bit tough.
Great talk, with very nice slides and presentation style. I really liked the different point of view, a nice eye-opener. Only bit of critique I can think of was that it felt a bit philosophical. Maybe some practical pointers for combining temporal and structural models in an application would be a nice addition.
Liked to have seen a comparison with writing use cases.
To my opinion, event-driven design is not very much different. I might be wrong off course :)
Would have been nice to go into a bit more depth about time consumption and tools to structure the schema's.
I should dive a bit deeper, and that's really what these talks are about, getting inspired.
Thanks !
although the subject is super interesting, this wasn't your best talk i've seen. It felt like you wanted to cram a lot of information into a short time, mostly due to your enthusiasm.
Enthusiasm is great, but try to tone it down just a little bit and keep it more structured!
Really enjoyed this talk. Contained a lot of pointers I will certainly apply in the future!
Good talk on event storming and how to think in temporal model, though I would have liked to see more on how temporal and structural models flow together. The talk would have been better with more time to get into the details, but I guess "I want at least two hours more of this stuff" does not count as a critic.
One of the highlights of the conference for me. As someone who uses Behat to write user stories the points you made on the subtle, yet important difference in perspectives between writing a story that includes the process was an eye opener.
The content was well delivered, I remember looking at my watch towards the end and thinking "Has it really been forty min?". Very interesting material!
Great talk, got a lot of useful insights!
Great talk! Event Storming is something it should be discussed more, be it using Event Sourcing or not. Given, but specially, That-Then is a great way to ask questions to the customers/share-holders/etc.
