"In this talk I explain how to use Xdebug to get more productive writing PHP code, focussing on the improvements in Xdebug 3.2 and 3.3, and the upcoming 3.4, to make the debugging experience better and easier to set up.

Beyond that, this session also goes through a few complicated scenarios that are harder to debug, and shows solutions to these conundrums. I will also focus on the new features, such as native path mapping.

Stop with the live demo's, it didn't work.. it didn't add anything except lapse of concentration. Most of the 'demo' could have been shown as images, and a talk..
Debugging your live demo is also, nog great..

As always Derick is highly knowledgeable on the topic. The demos went a bit wrong but the fact that the tools that were being demonstrated could also be used to fix the demo when it did was a good real life example. Some upcoming Xdebug features sound really interesting too.

Well done also for keeping going when you clearly weren't feeling that well, even considering asking the mic to be turned off when you were having to cough so much - get well soon!

Lol, live demos rarely go as planned.

Debugging the problems during your demo just proved that xdebug does work. I've been using it for years and it has saved me so much time and headaches.

Thank you for the talk and xdebug.

Thanks for the great talk, please keep the live demo's :)

Great talk. Derick breathes Xdebug and you clearly get that from his talks. Even a cold and demo gods that weren't on his side couldn't not stop him.
