Useful, and very well done!
Very nice, useful to understand what it really means to build a renderer!
These technical talks are the main reason for me to attend conferences!
The talk did a good job at showing that React is not "that complex": it can understood in depth in one hour.
The problem is that sometimes the code was "too much" to follow so quickly.
Maybe (but just maybe) anticipating each code screen with a smaller pseudocode version would have helped grasping it better...
Excellent talk, full of useful info.
The only reason this review is not a five is because IMHO the speaker's voice (or "tone") was too flat and not engaging.
What I mean is that the talk was very clear and useful but it lacked "passion", which is a key ingredient to keep the audience focused.

Great talk, clear, and delivered with lots of energy :-)
Absolutely needed, every developer should have these concepts clear... they are part of our "civic responsibility".
Absolutely fun to watch!
I understand the critics about it not being deeply technical, but keynotes are supposed to be mostly inspirational, food for thought, and human... at least IMHO.
The talk was very interesting and well done.
The "fitness function" concept is spot on.
IMHO it should have gone more in depth technically, especially about how to design a modular UI.
Inspiring, very clear, entertaining... thumbs up!
