We love Web Development and all things PHP. Our meetings are often a little free-formed, but we shoot for this schedule:
6:00pm - Mingling / Meet and Greet
6:15pm - Lightning Talk: Last Month in PHP
6:30pm - Jesse Maxwell: Using CSS Grid and IntersectionObserver to write less code
Overview: Browsers are quickly evolving and some of the new tools they have given us can be used to build the same things we did previously, just with less code and for a better result. Less code also means faster time to production and fewer bugs. I will cover CSS Grid and Javascript’s IntersectionObserver as two somewhat new, but well supported, tools that can be leveraged today for great outcomes.
