Covering basic events for 10 minutes maybe wasn’t totally necessary given the crowd of Laravel specialists, however what a demo! Hands down the most prepared talk I have seen in some time, with regards to supporting technology. Joe built a full on app for this talk! Great work!

really good overview of laravel events, talk presented really well, and the interactive demo was a great touch, would not have guessed this was your first time speaking at a conference! well done.
Loved the interactiveness of the talk. Not sure if I came away with anything too new from the talk or anything that was actionable in future projects but it was fun and very engaging. I feel like maybe it would have been good to see more of the demo built during the talk, not as a code demo particularly but seeing more of it as an example. It wasn't clear how things were built at all points.

I think there could have been less time spent on Laravel event basics, but overall a really interesting talk.

Great way to end the conference, some really good knowledge and an entertaining demo. Great use of websockets and laravel events.
