What if we approached software development the way classical musicians learn a piece of music? Drawing from thousands of hours in the practice room, this talk applies a musician’s mindset to coding: using intention, structure, and self-awareness to work more effectively, avoid burnout, and build confidence. We’ll also explore how musicians’ culture of listening, experimenting, and giving feedback can transform collaboration on a dev team. Whether you’re learning a new language or just tired of the grind, you can gain wisdom from the musician’s approach.

A delightful talk that draws parallels between Cori's life as a working musician and career as an engineer.
I loved your take on this, but as a former violinist, I think we all know who the truly important part of the quartet is.
Great talk that demonstrates the parallels between a musician's mindset and a software developer's. Lots of useful tidbits in here.
"Relating this other field to programming" talks are hard to do without sounding glib or forced or pandering. This one managed to avoid all of those pitfalls. Excellently done, and the presenter is a natural performer.
Great afternoon keynote, thanks!
