Such a fantastic and compelling story! Great examples and recommendations for handling conflict and improving your teamwork.

This was a very motivational session. Stephanie Evans' story about crossing the Pacific is inspirational and the connection to working with teams on dry land are very fitting. Stephanie is a very comfortable and engaging presenter -- I wish my whole team was here to enjoy the talk.

What an unexpected surprise! Stephanie's adventure was compelling and interesting. We knew it ended well enough because she was here to tell the tale. But her tale brought all-encompassing credibility to her teachings on teamwork. I'll be picking up the referenced book to see if I can learn (and apply) more. Thank you!

I can't think of a more uplifting way to end the conference. Just great. One of the first decks i'll be grabbing to bring to the team building exercises at my organization.

Excellent soft skills presentation - perennially one of my favorite parts of PHP Madison.

What a great talk. This is actually my first time watching it as I missed it at another event and was pretty sad about it. Stephanie should be a frequent speaker at events. She really knows how to give a presentation to get the crowd engaged and excited! She made me laugh a lot too. Extra star for that. :)

Very nice keynote. Was informative and also engaging. Excellent public speaker. I went ahead and ordered "The Five Dysfunctions of a Team".

Stephanie's presentation was a perfect capstone plenary that was able to appeal to the entire range of conference attendees. The combination of the sailing narrative, business anecdotes, and teamwork philosophy - a deceptively tricky set of elements to weave together - was done skillfully and with a lot of humor. I was thoroughly engaged with the talk and thought the mixture of entertainment and wisdom was a lovely ending to this event.

Slides are posted for those who requested them.

Also, this was the video I couldn't get to play during the talk: https://youtu.be/ZZTwH8C5bjo

Enjoy!
