Very informative talk. Vinai is a great speakers. He explained and showed really well how to get things setup for tdd in magento2.
I really like to look at Vinai work, he shows multiple solutions that are so uncommon (but easy to implement and obvious). Each and every his show or workshop changes the way I work to be continuously better, and that live coding session showed me that PHP 7.1+ offers a lot of (let's say...) shortcuts doing very common tasks.
It was like being in Mondrian's studio, while he's painting. Through Live Coding, Vinai showed us how the intention should drive our decissions.
Fabian did a good job of explaining how to make testing fun again. I do not agree on everything Fabian said but he did a good job in trying to bring his ideas across. He seemed to have a lot of fun on stage as the talk was very entertaining.
Good and solid intro of the MFTF. Looking forward to give it a try.
Bonus points for live coding :) Even though I have seen the talk before, it was not boring at all. Mathias has some very valuable insights to share when it comes to refactoring code. A must see for every developer interested in refactoring (basically all of us).
Bonus points for live coding :) Very well structured, easy to follow, each step was explained in a clear way. Gave me a good impression on how to "really" do TDD.
The live coding showed the process of refactoring/testing really well.
