Engaging and very motivational. Humorous and easy to listen.

Would have liked to have seen some installation information presented.

Interesting introduction to using Jenkins. I would have liked to see more about installing and then configuring a Jenkins deployment. But this still provided a jumping off point to learning more.

Before Nic's talk, I'd been aware of a few tools out there for increasing accessibility of your web applications, but it quickly became apparent that I'd barely scratched the surface. Excellent talk. I appreciated how he balanced detail with pointing attendees to references and resources to further their own understanding later. He has an easygoing, amiable presentation-style.

Fascinating talk, you obviously have a deep understanding of it. Had a hard time grasping how I might apply it but probably just the nature of the subject.

Lots of content, moved at a good clip. Did tend to say things like "obviously" and "simple" a lot, which may be off-putting to people who hadn't run into this paradigm before.

~Echoing Woody's comment... not sure the value we add by yielding from a promise vs. calling then.~

I asked. Terseness :)

Even as someone whose primary language isn't PHP, I walked away from this talk with solid action items and new knowledge. I appreciated her use of a real-world scenario to explain processes and pros/cons, and will be incorporating some of her lessons-learned the next time I work with legacy code.

Super interesting talk. The examples were good. I'm still not entirely sure how promises are implemented with regard to generators. A little more information to link the two concepts would be helpful. Or maybe I should just go read a promise implementation.

Good lecture. Very dense with a ton of good information. I think I understand better what promises and generators are, though I still don't know what kind of use-case generators are good for.

As a coding instructor, I was happy to see this type of talk at the conference. I was a bit late, but the slides provide a great reference.
