Very well presented, most memorable talk of the conference. Could have done with more mitigation detail, but I suspect that would've been hard to fit within the allotted time.
Hackers are d*cks.
Good presentation, well delivered, though not really relevant to my interests personally.
Felt a bit too targeted towards Project Managers rather than developers.
Great to know some of the back story of PHP. Also a good reminder that we should be trying to use our skills to change the world, not just make money.
A timely reminder that commercial pressures have seen me revert to writing terrible code :-D Presentation was good.
Second language speakers are always a challenge for mono lingual rednecks like me, but overall I enjoyed Yusuke's presentation. However I did feel it could have contained some more on topic content. It has inspired me to pull my head back out of the sand and start using Travis CI, and maybe at a stretch Selenium - would have been good to see a few more demos there though.
Was great seeing some code in real time, but as a developer dealing frequently with high volume asyncronous services, I would have liked to see a little more info on how exactly I might swap out some our current async systems (queues etc), with React et al (i.e. who actually builds chat?!). Overall though it was good, and Chris' enthusiasm for the topic was well received, and the base level demo does give you a little insight into just what might be achievable when considering running PHP as an evented service provider.
Enjoyed this presentation, having been exposed to SIlverstripe in it's various states over the years, was interesting to get a little insight into how they are tackling problems. I didn't get much tech out of it, but some insights, and a few laughs!
