Best talk on data I've seen at openwest 2016. Makes a great argument for the power of relational databases over the flash of newer nosql databases. This guy really speaks my language.
Starting with an overview of what the longevity of data means, the speaker gave a great case for the preservation and attention to maintenance of the data behind applications. I appreciated the specific approaches presented for various aspects of data design and maintenance, given in an agnostic way that could be applied to many mediums.
