The fact there were no questions at the end I think showed how detailed and well delivered the talk was.
My only suggestion would be to make the text a bit bigger, or try inverting the colours to make it easier to read.
Thanks Matthew.
It was a privilege to hear Matthew over a live link explaining the changes that PSR-7 are bringing about. The talk was clear, interesting and, as you would expect, authoritative.
Excellent. Loved it.
Apologies for the delay in posting.
Matthew is of course an experienced speaker and was in full command of the material.
The talk was well-paced, and he coped well with the challenge of presenting to an unseen audience.
I have two items of feedback.
Firstly, the talk started with a lengthy period of scene-setting which many of the audience found challenging.
An alternative approach could be to defer explanation of some of the conventions until later in the talk.
This might allow them to be introduced in context and could also permit earlier content to be recapped.
I saw this approach used particularly well in a talk on the OWASP Top 10 a few months back.
Secondly, the benefit of manipulating services using the API was not clear to all.
Some high level examples of the type of services that might be chained together could perhaps help those less familiar with the problem.
