An interesting talk, well paced, structured well and delivered confidently.

Great presentation, very clear. In fact I stopped taking notes, I'll just refer back to yours! The application of it was a little beyond me though, so I'd still struggle to migrate from a traditional lamp model to docker, but I'm definitely intrigued and will find out more at some point!

Really liked the talk, thanks. Docker a huge topic and you introduced it well

I am new to Docker and this was a fantastic introduction.

The presentation and slides were really professional.

I can't wait to get started using Docker in my projects.

John Noel at 19:08 on 18 Feb 2016

A great overview of Docker in regards to PHP especially now that the technology is a little more mature but could have done with clearer "getting up and running" introduction.

Carlo Guli at 10:03 on 19 Feb 2016

Gave me some good ideas and tips. Appreciate the honesty appraisal of the current limitations of this technology. I will definitely explore more the opportunities it offers.

Docker has always seemed scary to me. Syzmon made such light work of explaining it with a minimal number of simple examples really demystified it for me.

Excellent overview of Docker and how to work with it and PHP projects. Just enough detail to provide clarity and not so much that it was overwhelming. I'm excited to try out Docker.

Alex Briffett at 14:52 on 19 Feb 2016

Great introduction to Docker - makes me want to try it out.

Beata Burczyk at 20:50 on 19 Feb 2016

This presentation was on the higher level of knowledge about Docker what I expected, to be fair is not the criticism :) maybe more examples and even short introduction for newbies will be helpful for me. In general very good talk.

Well paced delivery, decent content. Could have pushed the boundary a little.

Tony Porter at 21:21 on 19 Feb 2016

This was one of the best talks of the conference. I have been using docker for a good while and I was one of the few people who raised a hand when you asked if anyone was using containers in a production environment. I actually only learnt one thing in the talk which was the volumes_from option in docker-compose.yml but the best bit was the reassurance that everything I had done so far was the right way of doing it. It was a blessing for the talk to be delivered so clearly and at just the right pace.

Sadly the rooms were too crowded to engage properly with this talk. I hope to see the video online later so that I can review properly. I think this should have been presented in the big room.

Steve Winter at 11:04 on 20 Feb 2016

An excellent overview, with clear and concise information on how to get a Docker-based system up and running.

Your slides and examples were very clear and I appreciated the live demos which you did.

I also greatly admire your ability to present so clearly and confidently in a 'second' language to a standing-room-only crowd :-)

Jakub Zalas at 13:14 on 20 Feb 2016

A very smooth introduction to docker and its ecosystem, very confidently delivered. Szymon managed to keep the audience engaged, even those who have already knew or used docker.

Docker is not new to me, but I really enjoy this talk. Live demo went great, delivery was really good. Thank you Szymon!

Excellent talk, and good to see docker-compose examples. Much of the getting started stuff I had already worked out by now, still it was good to affirm my understanding, and great live demos!
I really learnt a lot looking at how you used Docker in a production environment, and how you deploy with it. Thanks!

Tom Cameron at 09:57 on 22 Feb 2016

As someone very new to Docker, I found this talk engaging and well-delivered. Thumbs up!

David Shrive at 14:37 on 22 Feb 2016

A well presented talk however I was hoping for more. The description promised a 'set of best practices' where as this just covered the basics of using and deploying with docker.

Tom James at 20:38 on 24 Feb 2016

Great talk, would of enjoyed so much more if there was enough room for a seat!

Interesting, professionally delivered and covering a remarkable amount of ground in a short time yet in a way that - I at least - found myself retaining easily. You've saved me spending a weekend reading about docker and meant I'll start using it more quickly - thank you!

Jeremy French at 08:23 on 25 Feb 2016

Great talk. Brilliant live examples. Convinced me it was time to jump on the docker boat.

Some great demos and examples of how to use Docker and PHP. Simplified a lot of the FUD about docker.

Sam Partington at 09:48 on 1 Mar 2016

Really useful talk - the demos added a lot, and the explanation of how it differs from using e.g. Vagrant was so helpful. That explanation of the difference was something that had been lacking from every other Docker talk I'd ever seen, and this talk was worth coming to for that alone!

I would have appreciated more about what the limitations are of the fact that this isn't a full VM - e.g. I understand you can run a shell in the Docker machine, but that's not the same as "SSHing in" to something.

Pretty good talk.
