Not used docker yet, and this lightning talk will really help when I do move onto it. This talk was full of alot of great advice and information. Would be great to see a longer talk on this topic.
Clear, readable slides, I liked the ones with big text and not just reading from them! Could have used bigger non-title text. Lol, perfect shirt for the occasion!
Hugely informative! Good to have a heads up on some of the issues I could face. Some of the concepts I'm not very familiar with, so I really liked the topics you simplified.
Love the simplicity of the slides :) lots of information coming through and useful advice. Could be clearer on the problem the solution is solving and maybe add to the slide for future reference. Can feel the experience coming through. Enjoyed that it was also positive and focusing on what to do right rather than what went wrong.
The Gist link is impossible to remember without taking a photo, perhaps make a shortcut with bit.ly? Otherwise really good suggestions :)
Confident speaker, clearly knowledgeable about the subject of docker. However there was no ramp up for people in the room who don't know docker so simply went over the head.
Loads of great tips, less coding horror, more coding advise but for docker development. Went through the tips quite quickly so would like to have had more time on them and to know the pitfalls of not following the advise.
Some great tips and info. Would have liked a longer talk and more info
Really good to hear someone challenge some of the accepted docker wisdom. I only just kept up as I’m new to docker, but getting on with it is the nature of a lightning talk!
There's was a least one tip here that's going to make my life a bit easier.
I'm not sure I understand all your points, like copying the files. Maybe you could go into a little more detail as to the problem you were solving.
