Important topic. Good examples to create empathy. Stressing having diverse people making things is so important.

Fantastic way to close the conference. Eryn's clear delivery about an important topic (with accessible and powerful examples) should be required viewing for any dev shipping software. We all make assumptions and we all have biases, and if we don't try to keep those in mind, our software can do harm.

Excellent! Really enjoyable content presented in a really compelling way.

A few months ago, I got a chance to see Eric Meyer speak, where he recounted Facebook's "Year in Review". It was an incredibly powerful talk, and Erin's talk dovetails into it perfectly. She speaks with a great cadence and a balance of humor and seriousness. Fantastic talk, important topic, and outstanding speaker.

Wonderful thought provoking talk and great examples

Excellent talk that underlines the fact that the code we write should be as humane, warm, emphatic and thoughtful as we ourselves need to be in real-life. This talk could be given at any conference really.

Well done!

Excellent talk, great presentation, and good examples. Immediately following the conference I left feeling this was a solid presentation, but it was one of those rare sessions that resonated throughout the weekend in into the following week. I found myself constantly thinking over the topics presented.

I cannot recommend this enough. Very eye opening. I thought of myself as being very open-minded and forward-thinking in general, but this talk really opened my eyes to all the things that I do take for granted on a daily basis, especially while coding.

Awesome keynote and a great way to end the conference. Like a few others have said, I'm pushing to make viewing this a part of on-boarding all new developers at our organization.
