Great talk. I've spent a lot of time reading and learning about the SOLID principles and focusing my development on holding more true to them. Brandon has a clear, well focused presentation that put across those principles in an easy to understand manner.
Brandon adjusts his examples for skill set, balances his responses to questions that everyone in the room might get them and did a good job of interacting with the room in general.
I have not followed PHP development in the way I have other communities so Brandon's name was not familiar to me. It will be a name I now look for, and I will certainly be heading for his book on mastering object oriented PHP.
