This talk could have benefited from some debugging exercises. Debugging koans, if you will. There were way too many esoteric quotes taken out of context from neurology and philosophy and forced into the topic of programming. Also, the white on light green slides were barely legible. On a positive note, I liked the trick of holding a cup of water to prevent hand waving.

I enjoyed Ben's take on bringing ideas from other places and using them to improve our professional practice. His stories were real and relevant, and as a person who can be rather excitable under pressure, there was some great advice here for me
