I’m excited to announce our first S/W LIT event on June 5th at our offices in Runway East. The meetup will be focused on Agile adoption and benefits realisation.
Our first speaker is Georgina Hopkinson (Agile Coach) from OVO Energy who will be sharing her views on what any team can do in order to create Agility. The second speaker is Greg Gigon (Head of Software Engineering) from Direct Line Group who will be sharing his experiences and learns from implementing agile and DevOps cultures throughout his career.
Agile is and has been a big topic of discussion for the past few years, we want to drill into it and what it means to be truly Agile, whilst also exploring the benefits that can be realised when its executed correctly. Our speakers will be sharing some of their learns from running Agile adoption programmes and providing some take away’s that can be considered and implemented.
I’m keen to engage with the members in this group to understand whether there are specific things they would like to discuss related to Agile. Please feel free to reach out directly with any questions/challenges you’re facing, and we’ll do our best to discuss these on the evening as we want it to be as interactive and open as possible.
