Great speaker, great presentation, great libraries.
Very useful and very thorough.
Very interesting to hear about real world applications and to have updates on some of the hardest challenges. I would suggest maybe speaking a bit more quickly to keep everyone focused, but otherwise a great talk.
While the topic was pertinent, the content is starting to get repetitive. It is rather easy to come by some of the metrics that were presented. I would have very much preferred real world examples of what to refactor and what not to. Instead of showing us how to split a function, show us when it is useful. Splitting for the sake of it with dummy examples does not help.
Very informative, gave me a lot of ideas for future APIs. It was also great to hear about stuff that big companies like Adobe are doing in the Open Source world.
The story was great and Kris communicated it very well, but it felt out of place and vague. It seemed more like a motivational speech for graduating students. Kris was talking about an experience that he could not tell any detail because the idea is not out yet, so a lot things felt left out.
