UNC CAUSE is a group formed in 1970 by the computing centers of the 16-campus University of North Carolina for the purpose of promoting cooperation and information exchange between the campuses of the UNC System. UNC CAUSE holds a large technical conference each fall to facilitate the trading of technology information between campuses for the benefit of information technology staff statewide.
