Best way to improve yourself is to 'come-out' with your code...
Those guys definitely did and have gotten some great feedback.

We are all here to learn from each other.

Will have to have a look at RPC style API, looks interesting, as well as that Doctrine History package.

Have already heard of PHP plus by Nuno Maduro before the talk.
Not knowing what to think of it, I enjoyed the discussion with others about the pros & cons of the approach...

All in all, seems interesting (will have to test it), but adds a new (unnecessary?) layer for the new people joining the team and are new to this kind of workflow.

Great talk, really interesting subject about simplifying the PHP as a language. Some use cases are really interesting and look nice, but it all depends on the code style preference.

Laravel is an overkill for your use case, Lumen by Laravel would suit you better (https://lumen.laravel.com/).

In many situations, things that you extended already exist in Laravel, ie. "Customizing The Error Messages" https://laravel.com/docs/5.8/validation#customizing-the-error-messages
