I was really disappointed with the technology, not the talk. I would not have attended if I knew it would force me into Microsoft products.
Dear anonymous, When you install the dev Xamarin tools, there are absolutely no Microsoft products installed, zero. They use their own implementation of the ECMA-334 C# Language Specification http://www.ecma-international.org/publications/standards/Ecma-334.htm They use their own implementation of the open source .NET Framework http://dotnet.github.io/ Conferences are great places to discuss, express concerns and exchange opinions. I would have love to have this discussion with you at Confoo.
