This was a good talk, yet a bit long I think.
I think more interaction with the audience would keep more of the focus.
For example, when the explanation of MVC came my focus kind of slipped as this is something most of us should know.

To improve both of these little things you might ask questions to the audience like "Is there anyone who is not familiar with <insert topic here>?"
This will draw attention back to the talk for those that are slipping and if everybody knows about that topic people will not need to hear about it for the x time.
This will also give you the opportunity to delve into something deeper later on.

Overal a good talk though!

Well done for your first talk. I remember my first talk well so I know how it is to give that first talk with no experience yet.

Some suggestions: try not to stand in front of your slides, it makes it difficult for some of the audience to view them. Keep practicing your English. Go to meetups/conferences and interact with non-Dutch attendees to get a better grip on speaking English. I know how hard it is at first when you're not used to it but practice makes perfect :)

About the talk itself: it's nice that you showed some basics from Laravel you like to the audience. But tbh, most of the things you covered were things which I believe most of the audience was already aware of. Laravel 4 has been out for some while now. I think most of the audience would have loved if you (for example) showed some new features from Laravel 5.

Keep it up and keep speaking to improve yourself! :)

Nice intro, just some minor issues like standing in front of the slides, add a bit of interaction with the audience, ...

Also, practice makes perfect, just try to keep those small things in mind and do this talk again a couple of times.
