Jordi is clearly passionate about Composer, however this felt a bit flat, as if we were being walked through sections of the manual, rather than genuine discovery.
I have learned a few tricks here. I am speacially please with the introduction of Satis. Full of examples and how to overcome common problems. Jordi did warn we needed to have some knowledge of Composer before attending. In my opinion, it delivered to the expectations.
I agree with John, and additionally the delivery wasn't great. There were some great tips here and there, but overall I was looking for the talk to live up more to the title of 'in-depth'. Regardless I'm very excited about the Composer project, and as has been said, Jordi is clearly very passionate about it and I'm looking forward to what's coming in the future.
Good talk, plenty of examples and these little tricks and tips, never looked at satis - I will definitely look at it now. The talk was a bit flat and definitely needs a bit more entertaining bits here and there or a bit more engagement with the audience. But the content was spot on. Really enjoyed it.

I think presentation suffered a bit as Jordi has been ill so I won't rate low for that.
I found this talk useful, especially as Symfony 2.1 now uses Composer. A revelation to me (well, I might have known but had since forgot) is that @stable releases are, by default, installed from zipballs but @dev releases need the whole git repo to be downloaded... With Symfony 2.1.1 hitting 'stable' I'll clear out my vendors and reinstall! Also, I had never taken the time to look at the available commands in Composer - who knew there was 'composer search', for instance? Hope you're feeling better, Jordi.
