As someone that has done a lot of work writing IVRs for two different phone systems, I was very impressed with the stuff Keith presented, and his method of presentation was excellent as well!
This talk was definitely the most fun of any I attended. I felt like it was a bit of a sales seminar but I learned a lot and came out excited. We maintain numerous IVRs and are about to start texting information to customers so this talk really hit home.
To be honest, I went into this talk expecting little more than a plug for Twilio. What I got was an in-depth demo of it that was very entertaining and interesting.
The talk probably would have been better had it involved some of the stuff in the title - such as UI or pixels, or had it been more appropriately named something like 'Useless tricks that involve a re-branded asterisk platform and little actual php'.
