A really good inspirational talk. I do hope that after being in this talk more people feel will be able to submit to conferences (or user groups) and hopefully be more successful after having received tips from a previous conference organiser.
One point to improve might be to talk a little bit more about other ways we can share knowledge such as contributing to projects like php bridge, more general community outreach (As was discussed later in the evening), php mentoring, helping people on IRC and the like but obviously it is quite difficult to fit all of that into 20 minutes.
