Imagine you have to do a simple REST API including 3 endpoints, but in one day, is it ok? Such a small question but with many things into it, it's a cognitive trap, you are evaluating how much you can achieve in a day, your experience with APIs, the tools, the risks and much more things. Your brain has to work a lot to give certain answers, many times without considering all factors. This talk introduces you to the cognitive biases world, exemplified by a developer's life, creating awareness you could be able to avoid many issues in your career!

Good talk but sadly not what i was expecting when reading the introduction on it. Good use of audience interaction though
Funny and engaging as always. Renato is a sure bet for a good time for the audience. Content wise I would like to be sent home with something to do, a call to action. And as an audience member I do not appreciate the speaker not accepting questions. You got on stage, you can try and answer a question :-)

You're absolutely right, my idea was to open a discussion session and have some chat with the audience, but unfortunately I've chosen the wrong words this time!

Interesting subject and fun real-world examples. The philosophical content could probably use some extra work. Asking an audience "why do we think" and provide an answer to that might be overshooting it a bit.
Great intro into how your brain work and recognize potential blind spots. To bad no audience member had an experience ready. maybe have one ready yourself just in case that happens again.
Good talk, it was indeed a bit sad that there were no stories at the end, but that's not the speakers fault.
